Section 18(2) in The U.P. Lokayukta And Up-Lokayuktas Act, 1975
(2)The State Government may, by order in writing and after consultation with the Lokayukta, confer on the Lokayukta or an Up-Lokayukta such powers of 3'isupervisory nature over agencies, authorities or officers set-up, constituted or appointed by the State Government for the eradication of corruption.
