(1)With effect from the date specified in the notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 declaring a village to be a Gramdan Village, all persons whose names are included in the register referred to in section 14 shall be deemed to constitute a Gram Sabha for the Gramdan village and the Gram Sabha shall have all such powers and discharge all such functions as are vested in, or conferred on it by or under this Act or otherwise.
