- The offences mentioned in the following sections and sub-sections shall be cognizable offences within he meaning of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), namely :-Section 212, section 320, sub-section (1) of section 391, section 407, section 408, section 531, section 532 and section 573.
