Section 11(1) in The Punjab Sugarcane (Regulation of Purchase and Supply) Rules, 1958
(1)The occupier or agent of a factory or society shall estimate or cause to be estimated by the 30th September each year, the sugarcane with each cane grower and shall send a copy of the same to the Cane Commissioner before the 10th of October who, after such enquiries and modifications of the estimate, as he considers necessary, shall order these entries to be posted in the growers' register by the occupier of the factory.
