Section 16(2) in THE THUNCHATH EZHUTHACHAN MALAYALAM UNIVERSITY ACT, 2013
(2)TheAcademic Council may co-opt as members not more than ten expertsand practitioners of various art forms. Such persons shall be those representing various Artforms as far as possible. One member from among them shall be from Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe and one shall be a woman.
