Section 25(1) in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils Act, 1997

(1)[The elected members of the Council,] [Substituted 'The members of the Council' by Jammu and Kashmir Act No. 19 of 2018, dated 6.10.2018.] shall at its first meeting after a general election elect from amongst the elected members one member to be the Chairman.
