Section 24(1) in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016
(1)The Academic Senate shall have the powers to grant permission for instruction and training in such branches of learning as it deems fit. It shall exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University and provide leadership for raising the standards and quality of education and research in the University;
