(1)After rule 101 has been complied with the witnesses for the defence, including witnesses as to character, shall be called to give their evidence.(2)The provisions of rule 96, 97 and 98 shall apply to the witnesses for the defence as they apply to the evidence of witnesses for the prosecution.
