Section 0(5) in The Mumbai Port Trust (Transport, Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods) Regulations, 2007

5.0Classification of Dangerous Goods.- For purpose of these regulations dangerous goods are classified into the following classes based of IMDG Code.
Class 1 : Explosives
Class 2 : Gases
Class 3 : Flammable liquids
Class 4.1 : Flammable solids
Class 4.2 : Flammable solids or substances liable to spontaneouscombustion
Class 4.3 : Flammable solids or substances, which in contact with water,emit flammable gases.
Class 5.1 : Oxidising Substances
Class 5.2 : Organic Peroxides
Class 6.1 : Poisonous (toxic) substances
Class 6.2 : Infectious substances
Class 7 : Radioactive substances
Class 8 : Corrosive substances
Class 9 : Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances and articles.
