Section 13(3) in The Standards of Weights and Measures (General) Rules, 1987
(3)The maximum permissible error on such weighing or measuring instrument shall be such as is specified in the corresponding specification laid down for such weighing or measuring instrument in the Seventh Schedule or, as the case may be, in the Eighth Schedule.
