Section 77(c) in Employees' State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950
(c)any other person present at the time of death may,immediately report the death to the nearest [Branch Office] [ Substituted by Noti. No. N-11/13/2/2003-P&D, dated 1.10.2004, for " Local Office" (w.e.f. 1.1.2005).] and to the nearest dispensary, hospital, clinic or other institution where medical benefit under the Act is available.
