Section 108(a) in Criminal Court Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Patna
(a)When a Judicial Officer sees reason to doubt the genuineness of a stamp filed before him, the stamp should be forwarded to the Collector of the district, who will examine It, and satisfy himself, if possible, as to its character, reporting the result to the officer sending it.
