Section 207A(2) in The West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973
(2)The officers and employees whose services are so placed at the disposal of the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad, shall continue to be the employees of the State Government and their salary, allowances and other benefits shall be met from the Consolidated Fund of the State:Provided that where any disciplinary or other action is required to be taken against any such officer or employee, the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad, as the case may be, shall make a reference to the State Government for appropriate action.
