Section 51 in Tamil Nadu Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1971
51. Powers of entry.
- It shall be lawful for any person authorized by the prescribed authority in this behalf to enter into or upon any land or building in any slum area or slum clearance area with or without assistance or workmen, in order to make any enquiry, inspection measurement, valuation or survey, or to execute any work which is authorized by or under this Act or which it is necessary to execute for any of purposes or in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act or of any rule or order made there under.
