Section 299 in Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha
299. Presence of other members at sittings.
- Members who are not members of the Select Committee may be present during the deliberations of the Committee but shall not address the Committee or sit in the body of the Committee:Provided that a Minister may with the permission of the Chairperson address the Committee of which such Minister may not be a member.
