Section 15(2)(b) in Brahmaputra Board Act, 1980

(b)require the State Governments concerned to furnish to it information relating to the measures undertaken by them for the control of floods and bank erosion and improvement of drainage in the Brahmaputra Valley, topographical, meteorological and hydrological and other related date and such other information as the Board may require for the performance of its functions under this Act.
