Section 6(4) in West Bengal Consumer Protection Rules, 1987
(4)The President and the members of the State Commission shall hold office for a term of five years or up to the age of [67 years] [Substituted by Notification No. 530-0CA, dated 30.7:2001, w.e.f. 30.7.2001.] whichever is earlier and shall not be_ eligible for reappointment :Provided that the President and any member may(a)by writing under his hand and addressed to the State Government resign his office any time ; and(b)be removed from his office in accordance with provision of sub-rule (5).
