Section 7(1) in The Assam Agricultural Produce Market Act, 1972
(1)The State Government shall establish a market committee for every area declared to be a market area under sub-section (1) of Section 5. It shall be the duty of the market committee to enforce the provisions of this Act and the rules and bye laws framed thereunder in such market area.
