...for defendant no. 4 The Court : This GA 3011 of 2017 has been filed by the plaintiff seeking change of name of defendant no.6. From page 17 of the application it appears that the learned advocate for the defendant no.6 has informed the plaintiff that Pesticides and Brewers Limited has been renamed as P B Global 2 Limited with effect from 10th August, 2017. Such change of name has been reincorporated in the register of companies as would appear from page 18 of the application. The proposed amendment sought for by the plaintiff is formal in nature and this will not change the nature and character of the suit. Hence, such prayer is allowed.
The defendant no.6 'Pesticides and Brewers Limited' be substituted by 'P B Global Limited'.
The department is directed to carry out such amendment in the original plaint within a period of fortnight.
Let this matter appear two weeks after vacation for 'Framing of Issues'.
