In February, 2019, the Central Government had promised to create a new railway zone under the name of South Coast Railway Zone for the State of Andhra Pradesh. … (Interruptions) It has already been around three years. … (Interruptions).
Sir, recently I asked a question to the Railway Ministry how much budget was allocated for the year 2021-22 for the creation of the railway zone and they have replied. … (Interruptions) It is just rupees forty lakh.… (Interruptions) This is not just the lack of commitment from the Central Government towards the creation of the railway zone, it is purely an insult to the State of Andhra Pradesh. … (Interruptions) Rupees forty lakh is not just for a building that we are talking about, but it is regarding the creation of a new railway zone.… (Interruptions)
On top of this, yesterday another question has been answered by the Railway Department. … (Interruptions) In that question, there was a part which asks about the existing railway zones in the country. … (Interruptions) In the answer, the South Coast Railway Zone has not been mentioned. … (Interruptions)

So, we demand a clarity from the Central Government on this issue.… (Interruptions) Is it being created or not?… (Interruptions) How much Budget has been allocated?.… (Interruptions) On behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, especially the people of Uttarandhra, we demand the new railway zone from the Central Government and the operation should start immediately.… (Interruptions)
On top of that, Railway Recruitment Board examination should also be conducted from Visakhapatnam and seven stations from Khurda Road Division should be added to the South Coast Zone. Their names are Palasa, Mandsaur, Summadevi, Baruva, Sompeta, Jhadpudi and Ichchapuram. These seven stations from Khurda Road Division should be included in the South Coast Railway Zone.… (Interruptions)
