Section 57(1) in The North Cachar Hills Autonomous Districts (Administration of Justice) Rules, 1955
(1)Property, movable or immovable, belonging to the judgement-debtor, ever which or the profits of which he has a disposing power which he may exercise for is own benefit, whether the same he held in the name of the judgement-debtor or by another person in trust for him or in his behalf is liable to attachment and sale in execution of a decree:Provided that houses, needful clothing, cooking utensils or implements whereby the owner subsists should not be attached or sold in execution of a decree unless themselves the subject matter of the case or suit. Land may be sold or temporarily transferred where custom admits of individual right in it being transferred.
