(vii)"Election Officer" means the [Collector, Deputy Commissioner or any officer, not below the rank of a Deputy Collector authorised by him in this behalf of respective areas in whose jurisdiction the Market Committee is situated, and includes any other officer appointed by the Managing Director to discharge all or any other functions of Election Officer] [Substituted by G.S.R. 12A dated 26.9.1993.]
