Section 191 in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
191. Power to provide water meters and recover charges.
- The Municipality may, -(a)by regulations, specify the terms and conditions for-(i)provision of water meters, either by itself or through an agent or by the owner or the occupier of any land or building, and(ii)recovery of charges for supply of such water as recorded by water meters, and(b)take necessary steps for detection and elimination of any fraud in respect of such water meters.
