This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time for a period of one month to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is informed that in December 2019 the arbitral tribunal has reserved the award. The prayer accordingly is made for extension of the mandate of arbitral tribunal for a period of one month.
2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is accordingly extended for a period of two months from 20 February 2020.
3. Disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
