Section 8(1) in The U.P. Fisheries (Gazetted) Service Rules, 1993
(1)A candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Director must possess the following qualifications :(i)M. Sc. in Zoology with specialisation in fisheries; or(ii)B. Sc. with Chemistry, Zoology and Botany with two years Diploma from Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Bombay.
