                                                      ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a seasonal helper in any of the Direct Paddy Procurement Centre, Dindigul Zone, http://www.judis.nic.in by considering his representation, dated 01.04.2019. 2

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though the similarly placed persons like that of the petitioner were appointed as seasonal helper in TNCSC by the second respondent, the petitioner was not appointed as a seasonal helper. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 01.04.2019 to the respondents, seeking to appoint him as a seasonal helper in any of the Direct Paddy Procurement Centre, Dindigul. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.04.2019 seeking to appoint him as a seasonal helper and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. http://www.judis.nic.in 3

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
