(1)The [Executive Officer] [Substituted 'Chairman' by Act No. 11 of 2017, dated 31.3.2017.] shall take measures for securing-(a)the daily surface-cleansing of all streets within a municipal area and removal of sweeping therefrom :(b)the removal of the contents of all receptacles and depots and of the accumulations at all places provided or appointed by the Municipality under the provisions of this Act for the temporary deposit of rubbish, trade refuse, carcasses of dead animals and excrementitious and polluted matters;(c)the removal of special wastes and hazardous wastes and other solid wastes from premises.
