(2)The expenditure on stores is included in contingent expenditure and is debited to specific works or purchases for which stores are purchased.Note : Unless separate provisions are made for stores relating to Panchayati Raj Public Works, the rules framed under this chapter shall be applicable for Panchayati Raj Public Works.
