Section 22 in The Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Electric Supply Undertakings (Acquisition) Act, 1973
22. Repeal and savings.
(1)The Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Electric Supply undertakings (Acquisition) Ordinance, 1972 (Assam Ordinance 8 of 1972) is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal and notwithstanding any judgement, decree or order of any Court or tribunal, any action taken or purported to have been taken or anything done or purported to have been done, or any right, obligation or liability acquired or incurred, by or on behalf of the Government or the Board, in pursuance of the provisions of the Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Electric Supply undertakings (Acquisition) Ordinance, 1972 (Assam Ordinance 8 of 1972) shall be deemed to have been taken done, acquired or incurred under the corresponding provisions of this Act, by or on behalf of the Government or the Board, as the case may be.
