1170. Rents on land and buildings in police occupation.
- The payment of rents on lands and buildings in police occupation up to the prescribed limit requires sanction, subject to budget provision, from competent authority [vide paragraph 430(b) of the Bengal Audit Manual].Rents shall be paid during the year for which they are sanctioned, and whether a claim is made or not the money shall be sent to the owner and a receipt taken.
