Section 2(v) in The Haryana Private Universities, 2006
(v)"sponsoring body" in relation to a university means-(i)a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Central Act 21 of 1860) ; or(ii)any public trust; or(iii)a company registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956(Central Act 1 of 1956);
