4. Power to prohibit certain acts.
- The State Government may, by notification and subject to such conditions as may be imposed by the Forest Officer concerned, prohibit the cutting, felling, gridling, lopping, burning, stripping off the bark or leaves or otherwise damaging any tree or counterfeiting or defacing marks on trees or timber in such private forest as may be specified.
