Section 1 in The Madhya Bharat Abolition of Jagirs Act, Samvat 2008
1. Title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called The Madhya Bharat Abolition of Jagirs Act, Samvat 2008(2)It extends to the whole of [Madhya Bharat (Region)] [Substituted by M.P.A.L.O. 1956 vide Section 4, Table for the words 'Madhya Bharat'.].(3)It shall [come into force on such date] [w.e.f. 7.12.1951.] as the Government may, by notification in the [Gazette] [Substituted by M.P.A.L.O. 1956 vide Section 4, Table for the words 'Government Gazette'.], appoint in this behalf.
