Section 27(11) in The West Bengal Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983
(11)A director shall not receive any emoluments or allowances (other than travelling allowances and sitting fees) or honorarium without the approval of the members of the co-operative society at a general meeting:Provided that such emoluments or allowances or honorarium shall not exceed such limit or rate as may be prescribed.
