Section 18(1) in The M.P. Nagariya Sthawar Sampatti Kar Niyam, 1964
(1)Where on the date fixed for hearing or any date to which hearing of the appeal may be adjourned, the appellant or his duly authorised agent does not appear when the appeal is called for hearing the appeal may be dismissed or may be decided ex parte.
