State of Uttar Pradesh - Subsection

Section 8AA(1)(a) in Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1959

(a)[the Municipal Council] [Substituted by U.P. Act 12 of 1994 (w.e.f. 30-5-1994).] or any other local authority constituted for exercising jurisdiction in such area shall, with effect from such date as may be specified in the said order, hereinafter in this section referred to as 'specified date', stand dissolved or, as the case may be, cease to exercise jurisdiction in such area;
