Section 10(1) in The Orissa Animal Contagious Diseases Rules, 1957
(1)In case any animal is not found infective as per Sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the Act and not accepted by the cattle pound, the Inspector shall sell it by auction. If however, nobody comes forward to purchase the animal, it shall be let loose.
