Information sought:
The Appellant sought following 08 points information:
1. What is the status of implementation of National Academic Depository?
Please provide number of degree awards uploaded to the depository as of January 2019.
2. Gold medal awarded to gold medalists in convocation, please provide cost of purchasing of gold medals in year 2016, 2017, 2018 (provide total cost of medals oly and number of medals purchased).
Page 1 of 43. Please provide details (list of student names, funds sponsored) of students funded by the University for foreign exchange programme under various MOUs.
4. Please provide itemized cost of expenditure of convocations held in 2016, 2017, 2018 (please provide itemized detailed heads of expenditure of convocation.
Etc. PIO, D.R. (Plg.), GGSIU, Delhi, furnished reply to the Appellant vide letter dated 21-02-2019 stating that:
Dissatisfied with the reply received from the PIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 03-03-2019.
The FAA, vide order dated 04-04-2019, directed the PIO to send the information to the appellant as per the provisions of the RTI Act.
In compliance with the orders of the FAA, the PIO, D.R. (Plg.), GGSIU, Delhi, furnished reply, vide letter dated11.04.2019, as under:Page 2 of 4

Grounds for Second Appeal:
The PIO has not provided complete information to the Appellant.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present: -
Appellant: Present via tele-communication Respondent: Naveen Bhardwaj, SO & PIO, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, along with Mr. Subhash Chandra Aggarwal, RTI Consultant, available on phone.Page 3 of 4
The Appellant stated that she has not received any information sought at paras 5, 6 & 7 of the instant RTI Application. As regards to remaining points, she expressed her satisfaction with the information furnished.
The Respondent submitted that the information, pertaining to the aforementioned points, has already been furnished to the Appellant via post, vide letter dated 17.03.2021.
Decision:
Commission observes, after perusal of the case records and on the basis of proceedings during hearing, that available and relevant information, with regard to point 5, 6 & 7 has already been furnished by the Respondent, however, same was not received by the Appellant. Commission directs the PIO to resend the information/reply, dated 17.03.2021, via speed post to the Appellant, free of cost, within 15 days of receipt of this order and send a compliance report of the same to the Commission. No further action lies.
The appeal is disposed off accordingly.
