Section 23(1) in The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Act, 1997
(1)It shall be the duty of the [Director] [This word was substituted for the word 'Chairman' by Maharashtra 1 of 2003 Section 13 (w.e.f. 27.11.2002).] of the Board to ensure that the provisions of the Act and the regulations and bye-laws made thereunder, are faithfully observed, and he shall have all powers necessary for this purpose.
