Section 84(5) in The Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957
(5)[ Benches or chairs shall be provided for the lowest class in all permanent and semi-permanent cinemas:] [Substituted by G O. Ms. No. 2612, Home, dated the 4th October 1973.]Provided that nothing contained in this sub-rule shall apply to a theatre, in which providing of benches or chairs in the lowest class will involve structural alterations to the theatre, until such time as they are re-constructed or remodelled.
