Section 4(v) in Andhra Pradesh Elementary Teacher Training Institutions/District Institutes of Education and Training (Regulation of Admissions into Diploma in Education course through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(v)Educational Qualifications. - (a) The candidates who have passed or appeared for the 10 + 2 Examination (Qualifying exam) or it's equivalent as decided by the Entrance Test Committee are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But they should have passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
