Section 5 in Uttarakhand Technical University Act, 2005
5. University opens to all classes or creeds.
- The university shall be open to all persons irrespective of class or creed:Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University to admit to any course of study more than the number of students as may be determined by the Regulations :Provided further that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provision for admission of students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes of citizens.Provided also that the University may maintain any college exclusively for women.
