Section 20(a) in The Bharathidasan University Act, 1981
(a)Six members nominated by the Pro-Chancellor of whom not less than three years shall be nominated to secure the rep resen tation of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes not otherwise adequately represented.
