Section 6(1) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1993
(1)Any plot intended for construction of building which is not abutting directly on to a public or private street, shall have access from such public or private street through a pathway. The minimum width of such pathway shall be one metre for a length up to ten metres and 1.5 metres for a length up to 30 metres.
