Section 460(a) in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(a)a notice of the intention of the Corporation to take such bye-law into consideration shall have been in the Official Gazette and in the local newspapers at least six weeks before the date on which the Corporation finally considers such bye-law;
