(3)"Electors"-"Electors" in any area means all male persons not below the age of twenty on the date on which the requisition under Section 7, is presented who have resided or worked for gain in the area for at least six months immediately preceding that date.Explanation.-A person shall be deemed to reside in an area for the purposes of this Act, if he-
