Section 1 in Kerala Local Authorities (Prohibition of Defection) Act, 1999
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Kerala Local Authorities (Prohibition of Defection) Act, 1999.(2)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd day of October, 1995.
