Section 56(2) in Tamil Nadu National Law School Act, 2012
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the punishment of debarring a student from the examination or rustication from the School or a hostel, shall on the report of the Vice-Chancellor be considered and imposed by the Executive Council:Provided that no such punishment shall be imposed without giving to the student concerned a reasonable opportunity to show cause against the action proposed to be taken against him.
