45. Appointment of first Vice-Chancellor.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) of section 11, within six months from the appointed day, the first Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor on a salary to be fixed by him for a period not exceeding five years and on such other conditions as he thinks fit.
