Section 13(6) in The Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Rules, 2013
(6)The inspector may take on the spot or otherwise such evidence of any person which he may consider necessary for the purpose of any examination or enquiry connected with insanitary latrines or hazardous cleaning of sewer or septic tank.Provided that such person shall not be compelled to answer any question or give any such evidence tending to incriminate him.
